- May Week of Actions Planning Meeting
- May 03, 2012 at 6:00pm
- 256 W. 38th St. (12th floor)
Join us on Thursday, May 3rd, at 6 PM at 256 W. 38th St. (12th floor) for the next (and maybe last) big meeting to plan for the week of actions in May, which aims to bring huge number of groups and individuals from all across the city to fight together in diverse ways to tie the many issues we face – from cuts to social services in the city budget, to austerity in general, to the systems that cause them – in a global movement emerging to resist them and create something new instead.
There is always space for people to join actions, or create their own. We want a week where everyone uses their diverse skills and tactics to fight for the things they need, all in solidarity with each other – both to win things now, and to push the movement forward for real meaningful transformation ahead.
Everything fits! Come on Thursday, and bring your issues, your friends, your ideas, your dreams. And see you in the streets on May Day.
