S15-S16-S17: All Roads Lead to Wall Street!
|
We need you this Monday – join thousands of other New Yorkers to call out Wall Street one more time! September 17 is almost here — it’s been four years since the criminal bailout of Wall Street and one year since we let our voices be heard in Zuccotti Park with Occupy Wall Street. Labor and community groups are planning a support rally and speak-out at Zuccotti Park on Monday at Noon under the banner of “The 99% Return.” Meet us in Zuccotti Park/Liberty Square at Noon on Monday! OWS and allies like us will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the occupation on September 17th. And it’s important that New York community and labor activists, leaders & organizers help make the anniversary something that sends a strong message across the City, across the State, all over the country and around the world. For the anniversary, September 15, 16 and 17, under the banner All Roads Lead to Wall Street three days of education, celebration and resistance to economic injustice are planned — with convergences and assemblies, concerts, and some of OWS’s famous direct action planned for 7AM on September 17 (also known as S17) at the New York Stock Exchange.
